Party Speaker Wholesale Buying Guide: A Configuration Checklist for Importers
Party speakers can look similar while using different internal configurations and accessory packages. Review the current speaker portfolio, then ask suppliers to quote against one written checklist.
1. Define the commercial application
Explain whether the product is intended for events, karaoke, promotions or another wholesale application. The intended use helps frame the configuration without replacing model-level testing. See the application overview for additional context.
- Expected venue or use
- Required mobility
- Playback and microphone needs
- Operating environment
- Target-market electrical requirements
2. Compare cabinet and driver configuration
Ask each supplier to identify the proposed model, cabinet format and driver configuration. Do not compare only by product height or appearance, and do not assume that one catalogue image confirms the internal specification.
3. Review battery and charging information
For a battery-powered proposal, request the battery specification, charging input and the conditions used for any runtime statement. Runtime can change with volume, lighting and connected functions, so it should not be treated as a universal figure.
- Battery specification
- Charging method and input
- Runtime test conditions
- Battery indicator
- Market plug requirement
4. Confirm inputs, wireless functions and microphones
List the functions that the buyer actually needs and ask for the exact included accessory set. Similar cabinets may have different control panels, inputs or microphone packages.
- Bluetooth and supported playback inputs
- Microphone input and included microphone
- Audio input or output
- Control panel and remote control
- Lighting or display requirements
5. Check mobility and visible hardware
If trolley use is important, inspect the handle, wheels and carrying points on a representative sample. Record visible finish, controls and accessories in the approved reference.
6. Define branding and packaging
Confirm product branding, labels, carton artwork, manual language and accessory placement for the selected model. OEM and packaging options must be agreed for the actual order, not inferred from another speaker.
7. Test a representative sample
Check playback, controls, connections, charging, microphones, included accessories and packaging. Agree how approved specifications and later changes will be recorded before production.
8. Request a model-specific quotation
Use the speaker catalogues for initial selection, then request a written quotation covering configuration, quantity, documents and commercial terms. Contact AMAZ with the target market and the required speaker configuration.
Party speaker sourcing questions
Can two similar-looking party speakers have different specifications?
Yes. Confirm the exact model, cabinet, driver, battery, control panel, functions and accessory set.
Should battery runtime be treated as a fixed value?
No. Ask for the test conditions because volume, lighting and active functions can affect runtime.
Are microphones and remotes always included?
Not necessarily. The included accessory set should be listed in the model-specific quotation.
